Finance Department (Administrative)

The Finance Department, overseen by the City Administrator, is responsible for all financial activities for the City of Enterprise. City Budget preparation, financial planning, reconcilliation, payroll, and customer service are all included in the services offered by this department. In July of 2021, Christie Huston was hired as the Finance Officer for the City of Enterprise. 


Annual Audit with Financial Statements

The Finance Officer begins preparing the annual budget in March of each year. Most local governments in Oregon must prepare and adopt an annual budget. Oregon’s Local Budget Law is found in Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 294.305 to 294.565. The full text of these statutes can be found on the Oregon Legislature web site at www.leg.state.or.us. Below is a copy of the the 2022-2023 fiscal year budget for the City of Enterprise:

Annual Audit with Financial Statements

An audit is an annual review of a municipal governments accounts and fiscal affairs completed by an accountant or the Secretary of State (ORS 297.425). Oregon law requires local governments to file annual financial reports and other items to the Secretary of State Audits Division
