Enterprise City Council
The Mayor and six City Councilors are elected by the voters of Enterprise. The Mayor serves a 2 year term and the City Councilors each serve a 4 year term.
Mayor Irving E. Nuss, Jr. was elected in November 2004 as Mayor with his term beginning January 2005. Prior to that, Mayor Nuss was appointed to the Council on October 11, 193, filling the vacancy of Everett Roberts and elected from that point on. Mayor Nuss also served the city in earlier years being appointed to the City Council August 11, 1966 filling the vacancy of George Justice. Mayor Nuss was then elected as Mayor beginning January 1971 and elected through December 1976.
Councilor Jean Grandi is our newest councilor appointed November 14, 2005 to Position No. 1 filing Joann Snead's vacancy. Councilor Grandi's term expires December 31, 2006.
Councilor George Hill was appointed to the city Council on August 13, 2001 for position 2 filling the vacancy of Vicki Wallace and has been elected since. Councilor Hill's term expires December 31, 2006.
Councilor Margie Shaw was elected in November 2002 to Position No. 3 with her term beginning January 2003. Councilor Shaw's term expires December 31, 2006.
Councilor Steve Lear was elected in November 2004 to Position No. 4 with his term beginning January 2005. Councilor Lear's term expires December 31, 2008.
Councilor David Bishop was elected in November 2004 to Position No. 5 with his term beginning January 2005. Councilor Bishop's term expires December 31, 2008.
